**PART ONE**
I was kind of skeptical about how the final product was going to come out at first. In the end, I was pleased. It seems simple but fun to look at.

Emphasis and Focal Point
Contrast
This wonderful image of this happy couple displays contrast. As you can see, the sky and horizon in the background create emphasis on the couple who appear darker than the background.
The image of the dog came from http://www.better-digital-photo-tips.com/black-and-white-photography-tip.html and it also represents contrast. When trying to pick just one of these pictures to show, I couldn't chose, so I decided to show both! In this image the contrasts of the black and white emphasize the mouth and eyes. However, I only circled the mouth because I found that it was the focal point of the image.
Isolation
The way that the rocks are dark and the way that the sun is hitting this building shows isolation. The focal point is clearly the building in this photo because of the sublteness and darkness of everything else in the photo.
From: sample photos in my folder.
One Element
I found this image in the photos on my desktop as well. (I am not really sure how it got there though.) I believe that it represents one element and that the focal point is the rainbow. This picture is made out of the same materials throughout and it has just one theme and no textures.
Absence of Focal Point
This shows the absence of a focal point because everything in this image is exactly the same. There is nothing imparticular that stands out.
Placement
The placement of the flowers and bushes in this picture emphasize the window-like object in the center.

Unity Assignment!!
I found this image on Bing images. It represents, to me, proximity because of the combination of the yellow circles with the white and black Dalmation. The artist did a good job of making these two objects appear related.
I found this image on Bing images as well. I believe that it represents repetition with emphasis on similarity. The rocks are all close in color and appear to have the same texture. They all have generally the same shape. I wouldn't say this is repetition with emphasis on the variety because this picture is very simple with the same objects, colors, and textures whereas variety would include different colors or even sizes.
This is a picture of a border on one of the bulletin boards at my school. This image represents repetition with emphasis on variety. The shapes are the same but appear in different sizes and colors. Also, the smaller squares inside the larger ones are different sizes and are shaped slightly different. All in all, they shapes are the same which creates repetition and pattern.
I found this image on Bing images and it represents continuation. This is expressed by the showing of the continuing lines at their angled directions. Each set of the lines are viewed as if they are continued onto their upper or lower halves. The green lines that meet in the middle also show continuation through which they connection and pass through one another. I find this image fun to look at, and very "eye moving."
This image came from http://www.imamuseum.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/grid-1.jpg and it represents the organizing grid factor. I think that the grid is obvious when looking at the picture. Although, I find that the purple lines make the web page look messy and I think the designer could have done a better job in this area.
This painting was created by the painter Nick Piliero. He is a local painter and has many different types of paintings. However, this painting I believe, represents chaos and is unreadable.

This image, found on http://angres.deviantart.com/art/Asymmetry-Non-Objective-Art-112505149, is an example of non-objective expression of unity. Is it doesn't have a true purpose, but the picture is fun to look at.

This is an example of figurative expression. The name of this piece is called "Piano Legs" and was found on http://art-canyon.com/2011/06/figurative-art-piano-legs-art-print/. I like this image because it uses the human body in a creative way.
